Indocid, Indocin
Indocid, Indocin Uses:
Indocid, Indocin a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, is used to relieve the inflammation, swelling, stiffness and joint pain associated with moderate or severe rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis ( the most common form of arthritis), and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis of the spine). It is also used to treat bursitis, tendinitis (acute painful shoulder), acute gouty arthritis, and other kinds of pain.
Indocid, Indocin Dosage:
Indocid, Indocin is available in liquid, capsule, and suppository form. If you prefer the liquid form ask your doctor to make the proper substitution. Do not try to convert the medication or dosage yourself.
Indocid, Indocin Contraindications :
If you are sensitive to or have ever had an allergic reaction to Indocid, Indocin, Aspirin, or similar drugs, or if you have had asthma attacks caused by Aspirin or other drugs of this type, you should not take this medication. Make sure that your doctor is aware of any drug reactions that you have experienced.
Do not use Indocid, Indocin suppositories if you have a history of rectal inflammation or recent rectal bleeding.
Indocid, Indocin Side Effects:
More common side effects Indocid, Indocin may include : Abdominal pain, constipation, depression, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, headache, heartburn, indigestion, nausea, ringing in the ears, sleepiness or excessive drowsiness, stomach pain, stomach upset, vertigo, vomiting
Indocid, Indocin Overdose:
the symptoms of Indocid, Indocin overdose may include : Convulsions, disorientation, dizziness, intense headache, lethargy, mental confusion, nausea, numbness, tingling or pins and needles, vomiting
Indocid, Indocin Missed dose:
Take the forgotten dose Indocid, Indocin as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and return to your regular schedule. Never take a double dose.
Indocid, Indocin Storage:
the liquid and suppository forms of Indocid, Indocin may be stored at room temperature. Keep both forms from extreme heat, and protect the liquid from freezing.
